Our Team
Hi there! My name is Bree and I am proud to be the Clinical Director for Focused Behavior
Solutions. I have been in the ABA field since 2009, working my way from direct staff to where I
am today. I received from Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Eastern Washington University
and completed my ABA coursework at National University. I became a BCBA in 2014 and joined
FBS in 2018. What I love most about this job is seeing the kids use the tools they have worked
so hard to acquire in ABA to communicate with their families and friends. My goal at FBS is to
use my experiences and knowledge of the field to facilitate learning, growth, and excitement
for not only our staff, but for our clients and their families.
When I’m not at work, I am a busy mom to 2 amazing kids. We spend time as a family playing
sports (and board games when it’s too cold to go outside!), traveling, and watching movies. I
love being outdoors when the weather is nice and I don’t think there’s anything better than a
day at the lake!

Hello! My name is Alysha I have been working at Focused as a BCBA for about two and a half years. I began as a new BCBA in 2019 and have gained invaluable experience, knowledge, and confidence since I became part of the “Focused Family.” I spent almost 10 years as a Montessori teacher before coming to Focused, where I taught Kindergarden-8th grade at a private school that focused on inclusion and project-based learning. I have enjoyed sharing my Montessori knowledge and helping to create a creative, fun, and natural learning environment at our clinic. I love coming to work each day and being challenged as there is never a dull moment when working with kids.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy being outdoors and exploring the pacific northwest. I try to make the most of our short summers by spending as much time on the lake as possible. I have always enjoyed playing sports and have recently taken up disc golf, which has been a fun way to get outdoors and meet new people. I also love to travel and hope to retire someday somewhere warm.
My goal when I come to work each day is to make a positive and meaningful impact on the lives of those that I work with. This includes my clients, their families, and my co-workers. I strive to take advantage of every learning opportunity in front of me and continue to learn and grow in the field of ABA.
Hey all! My name is Talena and I started working for Focused as a BT in 2018! Since then, I have grown so much and now love working here as a BCBA. I have been a supervisor here for about 2 years and I love coming to work and seeing our kiddos make progress. I currently live and work here in Spokane, but have spent time in a wide variety of places. My favorite place I have lived so far is West Virginia (Let's Go Mountaineers) but the coolest place would have to be Okinawa, Japan. Anyway, I have been in ABA since 2015, and have experience with ages 2 to 22. I really enjoy working with all of my kiddos and seeing them learn and grow across their lifespan.
When I get a free moment, I like to be outside, exploring my world. I enjoy hiking, fishing, and anything outdoors really. My goal for the next year is to go skydiving for the first time. I also love to bake and cook. I love trying new things. Although I am not known for being the most social, I love meeting new people and enjoying every experience. I love to travel. I have visited 47 of the 50 states. Someday I will make it to the last 3!
When thinking about my ABA philosophy, I believe that everyone can benefit from a little ABA in their lives. It is just another tool box to help people learn, reach goals, and thrive. I believe in putting relationships first. If the client's want to be around us and we can establish a solid foundation, learning will be the most enjoyable and achievable. It was nice to meet y'all and I hope to see you soon!

Hi! My name is Ellie and I have had the privilege of working in the ABA field for over 5 years. I received an opportunity in this field after college and fell in love, at this point I can’t see myself doing anything else. I have been a part of Focused Behavior Solutions in Spokane for a few years now and I am proud to serve the community here. I am passionate about my role as a BCBA to find solutions to barriers that impede people’s ability to form authentic connections. I believe in collaborating with families to encourage growth not only for the individual, but the family as an entity. I am dedicated to promoting safe and efficient functional procedures that inform highly effective and humane treatment for intricate behaviors through individualized treatments. I believe in teaching functional and foundational skills that help children become independent and successful in their daily lives, and the enrichment of their families. I love working with parents and anyone else involved in their kiddo’s lives to encourage a well-rounded support system in and outside of ABA. I adore my kiddos and I strive to be better for them every day. It warms my heart to see their progress, the skills they are building, and how impactful it can be for their families.
In my spare time I enjoy doing anything outdoors and spending time with my family and friends. I grew up playing sports, so I need to get into recreational leagues in the area! I really enjoy being around people and enjoying life to the fullest, even the little things like having my ridiculous coffee with 15 ingredients in it in the mornings.
